Ban Appeal

Oh no's! You've been banned. Was it a mistake? Was it not a mistake, but you'll change your miscreant ways?

Post as much info DIRECTLY pertaining to the ban as possible, including the mod who banned you (if possible).

Please include:
Your account name
Date/time (and timezone) it occurred
Others involved in the incident


THEN! Pm me and tell me to get off my lazy arse and check this out.

Cime: Well, It started a while ago. basically, I let some surviors in to the creative world. Nobody
actually told me directly that it was a donator only thing, I didn't exactly know it was wrong. I genuinely didn't want/try to break any rules and if u do see survivors in creative, don't ban them. Just tp them out twice, and if they DID set a home, you can either just get them to ./delhome OR moosh can do it for them from the console. Ayways, I had this really cool iea for a train station,
and its not compleat yet, but it was almost done when I got banned.
Anyways, I "came back" as my other account (ANY relation to another person Is coinsidential)
to see if I could appeal and to see if I could get an idea of sombody elses veiw of it, and the person who banned me was even better. I would have said it was me once I got what I needed anyways, and I think it was pretty good what I got.
Anyways, I belive I let in 3 [survivor]'s in a span of I'd say about 5 days. When Yume said that it was me who did the chicken thing, and she sid that "every other donator was accountable" and that they all lived like "five blocks away" so then I asked about survivors. She said that survivos weren't allowed in there, so I fessed up, cause I'm an honist guy.
Then either Chatam or Yume banned me.They were both online.
So yeah now that I know that its noyt allowed, I promise that I wn't let any more survivors in to the creative world to show them my stuff. I'l just try and build it in survival.
Saorry about the chickens. It is 100% possible that a survivor could have gotten to spawn via flying. Congrats on getting ./killall.
I don't expect to be mod/donator with kick. I'd say it woul be fair if I had to donate again to continue working on my train station. I just wanna be let back to the commutity-with an open heart.

Okay first off, I have said (and resaid) multiple times while you were online and noobs asked for op, I said "No, but if you donate we have a creative world you can use"

I can believe that you missed it. I miss things in chat all the time. Not usually when they are said multiple times, usually one gets the message eventually, but i had a full conversation with a new player about it while you were online. I can't say I remember you contributing to the conversation however.

Now if that was your only offense, I would not have any problems letting you back. I'm sure you've learned your lesson on that part. I'm upset on a whole other reason I'm POSITIVE you are aware of. Not only did you come on to the server with a backup account, NOT okay. If you wanted to appeal you could have done it on the forum. You didn't come clean as yourself, you were pretending to be someone else. DOUBLE not okay. The straw that breaks the camels back for me is that you impersonated me. Don't try to lie, you copied my username. I made up Yume Nightfire as an online handle when I was a teenager. You created your account after we had met. Your "friend" Yume told me that. You said you got it for Christmas. Not only is that an insanely rude thing to do, stealing someone else's original name, you impersonated a moderator. A staff of the server. That is not okay. Obviously I don't have final say (luckily for you) but on a Minecraft Server, that's like impersonating an officer. If someone wants to send a private message to a moderator, and it doesn't go to the moderator, that's NOT OKAY!

Now every time I go on a new server, I have to worry if you've messed it up for me.

I can't speak for Darth, but your actions after being banned (in my eyes) are inexcusable. Good luck with the rest of the Jury.

I would have been all for letting you back if you had gone through the proper appeals.... But you had to come back under a near-identical staff name to argue with us. The point is you've broken the rules, twice now. If I were Darth, I would not only hold up the ban, I would IP-ban you as well so you don't come back with another Minecraft name near-identical to another mod/admin.

I can deal with turtles58 being unbanned, but allowing the yume account back in any form will cause problems. If a player wants to send a private message to me, and they don't put in the whole name (which with nicknames they may not realize theres 2) it will go to both, and that is a huge problem. Private mod/player interaction should stay private. Even setting a nickname won't stop that. I think the Yume account should stay banned, until Mojang sets up a username change interface.

I agree that the 'yumenightfire' account should remained banned. Turtles58 can/should be able to come back... But having a name so close to staff members will cause problems/confusion... Even with "/nick" in place. There is no reason to have a name that close to staff except to cause mischief and spread bad-rep.
